A short drive from Hillcote will take you to some of the best bathing beaches in the county such as Trevone, Daymer Bay, Constantine Bay, Harlyn and Trebarwith Strand.

Hillcote is also the perfect base to cycle or walk the fabulous Camel Trail, which takes the route of the old railway line that runs from Bodmin to Padstow. You can hire bicycles or there's plenty of storage space for your own bikes in Hillcote's outbuilding.
